As of now, it looks like the first images of the hardwood-ready model have emerged, revealing a measurable amount of cosmetic and constructive changes.
Right off the bat, you’ll notice that they almost feel like a reimagined version of the Kyrie 1, given that they feature a mesh upper and tooth-like edges formed at the top of the lateral forefoot. There are no more midfoot straps or sculpted hand healing molds. Instead, a set of four overlays lock at the lower throat, and the heels are embroidered with Kyrie’s signature surrounded by repeating arch designs. Additionally, there appears to be an inscription coming to the lower heel region that likely states the phrase “His Legacy Is Going To Live Forever”, a quote made by Uncle Drew himself after the tragic passing of legendary Kobe Bryant. .
