When Nike shifted to more sustainable practices, they created a slew of new eco-friendly offerings. And while this initially took the form of lifestyle silhouettes, the brand has gradually begun to inject its knowledge into the performance category. This helped create the Cosmic Unity, which despite being made from 25% recycled materials by weight, compromises little on utility.
Soon, this tool-turned-trash will emerge in a “Multi-Color” makeup look, the palette of which helps signal the start of spring. Beneath the purple stays and grid pattern overlay, the mesh features a subtle tie-dye treatment, which blends pink and blue hues. Red stitching then extends throughout, complementing the branding, tongue and detailing along the lace unit. Finally, a marble-like print dresses the tongue emblem and Swoosh, while the tooling consists of a grayed-out midsole and an icy blue bottom.
Take a closer look at this cosmic unity here. If you’re looking to pick up a pair, they’ll be available on Nike.com on March 28th.
Separately, official images of the Air Jordan 1 Low Reverse Black Toe have surfaced.
