Sneakerheads with everything Nike has in mind are getting a new flash of the past, a sort of back and forth experience in the new silhouette of NBA star Kevin Durant’s signature shoe line.
This fourteenth edition model dubbed the KD 14 brings to life something that this line of basketball shoes has been missing for the last seven pairs. Yes, the pair brings back the much-loved midfoot strap that had lost its relevance since the KD 7.

The court ready-to-wear is much cleaner and simpler, visibly like the first two iterations of the Kevin Durant pairs in collaboration with Nike. That said, it does have an overlying statement, which as previously stated comes with the midfoot strap.
According to the brand’s explanations, the signature bracelet, especially on the medial side – where it has a ventilated construction – is inspired by the Air Presto. It does, however, extend to the side with Swoosh branding wrapping around the tail here.

For added responsiveness, the KD 14 launches with full-length Zoom Air Strobels – first introduced to the range with the signature KD 12 model – and it features an engineered mesh upper, making it easy to layer. graphics for coloring. These feature overlays that embody KD’s off-court interest in art, music and technology.
The KD 14 was first shipped by Nike in “black/white” worldwide, with retail now open for North America from April 14th. The pair is priced at $150. There is also an interesting KD14 Cyber colorway, unfortunately only available in Greater China.
