On the heels of its Chinese New Year celebration, the Nike Kyrie 7 finally brings it a little closer to home with its latest colorway. In honor of Brooklyn, birthplace of the Nets, the silhouette pays homage to the New York borough’s influence on hip-hop culture.
The way he does this is both overt and subtle. The color palette itself isn’t quite as stark, for example, with the layered mesh simply shaded white. Below, a dark layer of black dresses below, complementing the polished forefoot molds, highlighted Swoosh and textured heel whose embroidery depicts the Brooklyn Bridge above a basketball-accented Boombox- ball.
For a better overview, see below. A release should hit Nike.com as well as select retailers in the coming months.
In other news, an LA Dodgers LeBron 7 is on the way.
